Description

As I reach out my hand to touch your cheek the moment freezes, time splits into two worlds. In the first, I brush my hand against your cheek and run it through your hair. I feel a smile forming on your lips, and see love in your eyes. I know in that instance of time I would fight any battle for you/ to be with you. I would gladly step into hell to be by your side. In the second, I look into your eyes and see doubt. I feel my world crumble, fear is growing inside me that I will fall and take you with me to the brink of hell. I fear I can not be the man you need. The two worlds converge back into one. Time begins to move slowly again, I wonder where my future lies. I look into your eyes and see them twinkle with a smile as you say “I love you”. My hand moves forward……….. We step closer to Heaven.

That was an incredible image, moving and true. I can see the same thing happening every time I see my wife, time splits in two while it waits an eternal second.

You took that chance and it all fell together. More words beautifully written.
