Description

Pictures in the aftermath of our recent week-long storms. I feel these fotos are not as good as my camera's eye #1 posting of yesterday, but they should be of interest to the viewing audience. Pic #1 captured 1/19/10, pics 2 & 3 captured 1/23/10, early in the AM, about one quarter of a mile from my semidomesticated domicile. Zoom for a better view. Top picture shows what is apparently a John Deere backhoe loader, which was sitting in the parking lot of our local Greyhound Bus depot. Second shot also taken in the same parking lot. Thankx for the visit, and have a pleasant day/night.

I love seeing the world through the eyes of a reflection; it seems deeper and more real, somehow. These are lovely!

Wow Harry! You captured a rainbow in the middle reflection, how awesome is that? Never thought I would say John Deere was pretty but yup! that reflection makes it so and then that gorgeous tree on the bottom, just fabulous!

Of course you know the palm tree is my favorite, but they are all great. Like Denise said, the reflections give depth otherwise not seen,

Oh wow - this is really great Harry! All three of them in fact! Well done! We had so much rain last night (again) that I was up and down like a yo-yo through the night making sure the water is not coming into the house from under the sliding door. Luckily the pipe through which the water drains wasn't blocked up and the water managed to only just drain away without pushing up into the house!

By the look of the third photo at first it appears that you had a bit of snow, but I am guessing that is sand in the water, and it looks like someone or something was trying to write you a message in the water.. Great group of photos.. thanks for sharing!

The shape of the puddle in the last one, looks like a person, sitting cross legged and wearing a hat. The snow effect looks like rocks in the pavement to me. I love the irregular crop of the tree, made by the puddle in the third image and the tiny puddle. Excellent shots!
