Description
Hate to tear you away from my beloved vehicle collages, but I figured you might want to see this for a change.
Captured yesterday, 1/23/10, around 7:15 AM, in a strip mall parking lot about a third of a mile from my hallowed habitat.
Don't bother to zoom, it comes out the same size as above.
After a big storm, which is an extreme rarity around here, I like to go out and seek puddles with keen reflections to shoot, be they big or small.
This photo needed some postwork to bring it up to snuff, and you can see my Bigfoot-like shadow at the upper middle right.
I was going to collage this with another reflection shot, but after considerable thought I decided not to in order to avoid any distraction between the two.
Tally-ho, and have a sterling Sunday.

I took a very similar photo the other day as I was out walking I noticed the trees reflection in the puddles, though it wasn't a Palm Tree, it think it was a Maple tree. This is terrific I will have to upload my photo and see how it came out I forgot I had taken some. Have a great Sunday I think all your rain is now on my doorstop and all over my backyard we've had tons of rain and strong winds today. Your weather is now here.

I like your change too...I am always trying to keep some variety...BUT I probably won't for a couple of more days since I am sitting in the middle of airplane heaven here in Seattle. I like what you've done with this shot...of course the reflections are great...in fact they look better than the original due to lighting conditions...that knowing you, you worked your fingers to the bone to get us the best possible end result. You succeeded! Nicely done.

This certainly stands on its own, and needs nothing else to compliment it. Fantastic image!

yes on bill, tara, Lynn & others, gorgeous, and perfect on its own (sometimes it's hard to let a pic stand on its own, I know that in my paintings, as I have to pull them away from each other sometimes); and a beautiful reflection shot; and I applaud your postwork throughout. One can see a little of the concrete below the water in the lower right--I assume that's what we're looking at; but over all, we're seeing water as a sheet of glass. Amazingly smooth. And your crop of the trees on top, as well as their angle, is beautiful (wonderful split between them); as is your choice to leave a long gaping shot of the water, appr 2/3 of the photo. Outstanding Harry, a beautiful & poetic shot. Wonderful what you get so close to home. What photography is all about---ie, you don't have to travel halfway around the world to find a vision.
