Description

Two Freelancers explore the weightless ruins of a derelict space ship. Hard at work on the graphic novel. Though I'm keeping the original images saved because I'm undecided whether the final product will have the drawn look or the rendered look. In all likelihood, the cover and dramatic shots will be rendered and most will have this toon effect. This very strongly reminds me of all the trade paperbacks and graphic novels I used to read as a kid, and I'd like to invoke that in readers, while at the same time giving them something fresh and new. I also don't want them to constantly be thinking about this as CG and just enjoy the story. I think putting it in a more familiar format like this may help. Enjoy, and let me know what you think.

I wouldn't have any difficulty with a mixed style--and I really do like your drawn look a great deal. I agree with you that it might be less distracting from the story line for many readers.

I like it. Certainly this particular look has some power and to some degree sets it appart from many others. I'm sure I'd like both styles though. Look forward to seeing more!
