Description

Just a quickie. While I was rendering this the Journey song Faithfully was playing and it was to the line Through Space and Time, Always another show, We all need a clown to make us laugh. So Through Space and Time became the title. I thought it fit it so well. I know I should be thankful to have a job, when so many people don't right now. My job is incredibly stressful. I run reports for our clients. A lot of them. I am up to 10 to 10 1/2 hours a day again and it looks like that will increase soon. With the stress level involved I am currently looking for another job, which is why I have been absent from here. All our clients act like they are the only ones that matter and being the only one who runs all the reports is hard when they start emailing for "special" reports, and they always want something I can't pull. Mostly because we don't get that information from their data sources. By the way, I work in a fulfillment center. We don't sell things, they do. We handle the credit card processing, ship the orders, and take their customer service phone calls. Oh yea and run their reports. Ah sorry I vented that felt good though. Thank you for stopping by, and letting me ramble on. Much love and peace, Cheri

This looks lovely Cheri I really love this so cool. Sorry to hear about your job and the stresses involved, Just because one has a job it doesn't mean they cant be unhappy or stressed out in it, and sometimes thats worse than not having a job as your health can suffer terrible.. some to the point of taking a gun in an killing people.. I wish you all the luck in finding a better less stressful job one that can be enjoyed.. Take care now my friend!!

I agree with Barry as well. This is a great image and I bet you wish you could send all those obnoxious clients through space and time without the benefit of protective gear..... Hang in there and when you've secured your new job have a blast!!!

I'm sorry, Dave, I can't do that....(a term made popular from the movie, 2001 - A Space Odyssey.) Fantastic fractal space-time continuum display here, Cheri, and I completely echo bazza's commentary in re your job situation. You've got to ease off. Nothing is more important then your mental and physical well being. You're free to quote me at work.

When I read the title that song popped into my head before I even read your comments, so I was obviously on the right wavelength. This one is really cool!

Eeee-gads .. I don't think I could deal with that kind of stress. Stress like that is NOT good for your health. I'm keeping fingers crossed that you do find something that's less stressful, and has more normal work hours. Hope there's positive news about the jobs you've looked into.

An "efficiancy expert" once visited a place where I worked to determine how we could increase our production. After analyzing my job she found that I would have to work 60 hours per week to complete everything I was responsible for. When I pointed this out to her she just smiled and said, "Oh well, I'm sure you'll manage." I managed all right, I found another job. So vent away Cheri, you'll get no complaints for me. Besides, it's good for you. Now then, this is just a fabulous fractal! I especially like the glow effects.

I waited to comment on this one, in order to let everyone else have their say first. Cheri you know where I stand as far as the job issue, and all of the stress is simply not worth it. The only real problem is knowing the grass is hardly ever greener,.......just different grass. We'll work through this,..together. In the meantime, venting your frustrations is incredible therapy, so never apologize for feeling the need to do so. I love the tendrils in this one, especially the green!!! Keep playing,....besides...that great therapy too!!

I worked in Customer Service for far too long and I get a case of the hives whenever I think of reports, fielding calls, and all of that CS/BS. As it stands I'm looking for more viable work myself so I definitely feel you on this one. As for the image itself, I love it. For some reason I keep expecting the TARDIS to go zooming by on its way to wherever the TARDIS would go as it transits an environment such as this! Great work, I love the colors and the intriguing palate of shapes here. This is amazing work, rather fun to explore and get lost in. What I really like is that it looks as if two vortexes are intersecting one another...there's the smoother one going off in a more near-to-far direction, and a more jagged, complex one skewing a bit downward. VERY interesting, and VERY fun.
