Description

The way the waves break at the beach where I walk so often is amazing. Row upon row of them, one crashing into the next. I stay well away from the surf line, cuz not only are these waves powefully beautiful, they are very sneaky and dangerous. Just this week someone else was swept off the jetty. You never know when that big one will come roaring in.

How absolutely awesome! Yes, that is one thing I have a truck load full of... respect for nature! I have seen the sea turn nasty so many times! Most wonderful image of this breaker Marilyn! :)

Uh oh, even though it's beautiful and spectacular, that's tsunami stuff you've got going there, Maz. It looks like you applied some hefty vignetting to this shot.

Maybe this is just a Chicago thing, but I see snow on a mountain when I see this...or maybe it's a wee bit too much Pilsner Urquell! Yummy stuff! Anyway, that's what I see just in the shape, but that's also what intrigues me because of the drama and the wonderfully sharp contrasts of light and color. This is really great work! And now, I keep wondering why I have the theme song to Hawaii Five-0 on my brain. I blame Corey for that. It's not his favorite show, but if it's on the air, he'll find it!
