Description

This is a close up of my last photo that I had made into a poster, and I was told that it is actually a moth and not a butterfly so like I had said to Oline in my previous post, I guess you never stop learning.. Now if I only knew the name of this moth, I did try to look it up, but I wasn't very successful, all I know is they are very pretty and lovely to watch and photograph, so thanks for all of your comments. If anyone knows the name, or a good site where I could look it up I would appreciate it. We woke up to a nice blanket of snow here, in fact our power had gone out for a while last night, so we are just enjoying a cozy weekend here at home, I wish you all a nice and cozy weekend in your part of the world. thumb_2011184.jpg

Lynell this is excellent and if you zoom in then press ctrl, and use the wheel on your mouse, you can even go further in to see all the little hairs on it, that act as its fur I suppose to keep it warm. Speaking of which hope that your heating is back on and you are still warm and cosy, hugs Jane xx

This is great Lynell. And I am sure glad to know myself how to tell the difference between butterflies and moths. Some great comments on this fine posting of yours. Hope you continue to enjoy the snow and ice:-)))...while I get to bask in warmer but wetter climbs:)

I did a Michael Jackson Image sometime back and you commented on it... I just read it again. I just wanted to tell you that I saw THIS IS IT in a theatre shortly after the image - I liked it so much I bought the DVD. The Grammys were on last night... they did a 3D special with MJ Earth Song... They didn't show the planet on fire and the bulldozer = MJ message was lost at the Grammys... I was disapointed in the presentation - I did like seeing his two oldest kids accept a grammy for him. Which Moth is this - I think it has "Eye" in the name, I think I've heard the name many years ago - good luck finding the name and if I remember, I'll be back.
