Description

Hi friends! This pic shows the Forth railroad bridge one more time - it is dedicated to the 57 brave men who died, when the bridge was constructed, and the more then 1000 men who were crippled, when they worked at the foundations under water and high air pressure. The risks for the health were not known in the old days..... I have had a lot of prolems with this bridge. At first: it was boring to reach there and see the famous bridge under construction. Back home, I hated the pics - they seemed not sharp.... Damned! Eyes opened and my mind changed when I zoomed in: These thousands of puzzle pieces of the construction platforms came out clear and sharp, and I could see the workers crawl between them....And meanwhile the whole repair construction is pure art for itsself - it`s the biggest puzzle I ever have seen. The right stuff to have a look back! PLEASE ZOOM IN and enjoy.... And a musical clip for today: The "TRANSATLANTIC SESSION 3" - LIVE !!! Why today? Today, at the 31th January, the so called "Celtic Connections Festival 2010" in Glasgow comes to an end, and it is a good tradition meanwhile, that the BBC Transatlantic house band with their special guests from different countries perform live on stage at the Albert Hall in Glasgow. They play the tunes from the BBC TV series and the audience ask for wishes... I wish I could be today in the evening and listen..... I hope we can see some YouTube clips soon... How it works we can see here: Transatlantic Sessions "big" band crew plays a song from Transatlantic Sessions 3: SHOVE THE PIG`S FOOT A LITTLE FURTHER INTO THE FIRE..... funny!! The concert was at 31th january 2008. ENJOY HERE !! Thanks for your interest! I hope you enjoy picture and music clip. Thanks for your comments for my older pics and feel free to send a comment for the recent - good or bad. Enjoy the sunday! I will go out for some snow pics...... Bye till the evening! billcody, Berlin Copyright: sanyallana (Thanks, lady!)
