My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.

This was just amazing--I loved all the various parts that identified different countries. Turns out I might just have paid more attention in geography than I first thought!1

I love the shadows and the way they run parallel with one curving around. It's fascinating looking at the them and trying to picture the metal parts that are out of the picture. Did you get more shots? Excellent capture!

WOW! I remember this! Of course I remember that day, I was still feeling a Persian Food high, and well...I looked for Persia on that globe...well...what woudl pass for Persia today, but you know...Iran's kinda hard to spot as it's well...not that distinct on a glove full of bulls and teapots and odd shoes. I'm amazed at the colors and I love the shadows and the perfect manner in which you've captured the light and that great shade of copper-rust green.

What a wonderful and curious glob. I recognize most everything but can't figure out what that is near Turkey. For Chip, the shoe sits on Iran although I can't imagine why. I do like the play of shadows over the globe. Excellent capture.
