My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

Very beautiful shot!!

Mushrooms have plenty to drink in Washington. Like the way you've captured just enough moss and fern to give this the tucked away look. This was about your last shot of the day too.

Oh I am like Barb I love the color of the mushrooms against the lush almost tropical background...all it needed was a bit of fog and it would of been in Louisiana,New Orleans or the swampland 10 stars for this one ** I posted a new one too Do drop by Hugs Susan~

A beautiful find and a lovely capture of them.

I know that these are mushrooms, but what really strikes me is the way their bulbous caps make me think of those wax globs in lava lamps, rising upward and trailing "stems" behind them. Funny how I see ferns and mushrooms and think of lava lamps...I wonder if that means anything? I must also point out that the colors are fantastic...I love those really dark and almost moody greens and then the brighter yellows and then the fuzzy silvery stems. This really rocks. Intensely!

Secret lair of the trolls and elves, featuring teeny umbrellas to ward off the sun and rain, whatever the case. I like the lush richness and configuration of the ferns in this wonderful image.
