Description

While in Washington I had watched while my friend Gab pulled out his pocket camera and snapped away while I fumbled with my full size model. So when I got home I went out and purchased a Panasonic Lumiz ZS3 ten megapixel pocket camera with a 12X optical zoom which gives it the same functionality as my full size Sony. I took it out for a spin and this is the first image from that camera. As usual I have no idea what it is but it sure is pretty.

It's a camelia. Congrats on your purchase, it should also have a 2" macro facility and maybe macro zoom..ALL my pics are from a similar Lumix which I keep in my jeans pocket.

Camelias are most beautiful. This specimen is perfect. I can't see one flaw in it. I especially love that shade of pink with the rich greens of it's leaves. Your new camera takes excellent photos. Amazing isn't it, the technology over the last few years? I hope to see many more great shots with your new camera. Well done.
