Description

Character: Kist, High Elf Bard Sometimes there are moments in your life when it all comes together. When you know, without a doubt, you are who you were always meant to be, and that everything you have been through brought you to exactly where you were meant to be. At that moment, your heart sings and your soul is at peace, and every scattered, broken or lost part of you comes together. For just that one moment, you are a seamless whole. Kist is a High Elf Bard, the Head of a Leth Nurae noble House, and one of the three Leaders of Karma's Reprisal. He's talented, dangerous, powerful, handsome and a troublemaker when it suits him. It took him years of wandering, searching, before he found who and where he was meant to be, and there are still times he struggles with holding to it. He has his share of demons and skeletons in his closets, but redeems himself through unwavering loyalty to those he leads and a spirit of determination that is only found in those who have been found wandering, unknowingly lost within themselves. Now, now he is one of those who wander, but always find their way back home. --- About 1 week of posing and lighting work in Daz Stuido 3, with 6 days of rendering various passes on lights, since it would not render all of them at once without crashing. Began postwork as soon as I had two renders to put together in Photoshop CS4, and over the course of the 6 days of rendering picked the best renders and put them together. Six to eight hours of actual post work, including creating the snow layer, adjusting lighting, colors, shadows, contrast, selective color layer etc. Second round of post work done in Autodesk Sketchbook Pro. Glow, smoothing out the lines on the lamp, evening some colors out, fixing clipping on armor and so on. Last round of post work in Photoshop CS4, added in border, text, signature. All in all, not a bad result. (:

Love it. He is perfectly at peace with himself as the storm winds blow around him. I did not need your words to tell me that; it was immediately evident (though your words are indeed well written and a pleasure to read)
