Description

The lovers had met in secret at the boathouse, defying their families. They had planned to marry but he had been called to war and never returned. For the rest of her life she carried the memory of their time together and her lost love. I've finally begun to play around with some of the features in Photoshop. I took my third upload titled 'The Boat House' and added my image 'Cella' using the Screen option in Layers.

It is almost like she is "speaking that scene!" Nice work.

Very nicely done! Beautifully merged together. The two individual pictures work so well with your theme of lost love. The Boat House has a lonely look to it, which her sad expression increases. Excellent!

They were meant to be together! Perfectly smooth melding of these two lovely photos. What a clever idea, I like the story very much as well, how sad.

"I've finally begun to play around with some of the features in Photoshop." I am very happy to hear this news.  It is a wonderful and exciting exploration, huh?   :-) A fine initial creation.  These two images are favorites of mine from your works at Ren'.  They blend together with a natural affinity. Working with digital editing tools re-introduces us to our photographs, an often surprising and fulfilling experience with images that we have known for decades.  I find this process often regenerative upon my inspiration.  I wish the same for you, Mark!
