When I sit here
In the darkness of my despair
I try and figure out why I love you
When it hits me
You are my storm chaser
When the dark clouds
Are rolling in
When the winds are blowing
And the rains are pouring on my soul
You are there
You are not the calm before the storm
You are the calm in the eye of the storm
You are not on the outside looking in
You are on the inside holding my hand
You tell me the storm
Is already half way gone
You whisper in my ear
I love you
And I draw strength from your kindness
I make it through another day
Because you chased my storm away
