Description
There's no room for decent within the ranks of the Royal Guard. So, when Varden, the former Captain of the Royal Guard, lost his ranking to the new Captain, chosen by the King, he held Andromeda no ill will. Rather than trying to reclaim his lost position, he worked to better himself.
Each day, since her appointment, he attended her training classes, sparring sessions and practices. Not only with the King's Guard, but other groups of the Court Guard as well. Seeking not so much as to further his own skills, but to become a worthy asset to his new commander.
In sort order, she saw to it that he became his lieutenant and official second-in-command of the Royal Guard, as well as becoming a fast friend to him and his young daughter, Falerina.
Taking every chance that was given to work with his new Captain, earning her trust, companionship and friendship...and becoming one of her strongest supporters in the Royal Guard.
There would be more times than either would care to count, that friendship would be put to the test.

I gotta agree with everyone, your posing is so excellent, always. Your lighting is always spot on, too. Of course I always look for Mike comments, grins, and I think he's wrong this time. I think his first guess was right on, those military men are all alike .. distracted by a woman's assets, and I don't mean her necklace, either, grins.
