Description

This is my first attempt at an underwater scene. For some reason, i don't really think it appears to be totally under water, but that may just be because i've been staring at it for an hour. I'll be adding plants and everything but was hoping for some constructive criticism. Thanks :)

Really nice lighting... but, as you say, needs something to be added. Really fine picture, what app are you using?

I'm using Bryce 5 and Paint Shop Pro. I tried using fog and haze to adjust the atmosphere and give it more of an underwater look. For the lighting i used a sphere light source and a gel. Thanks for the compliment :)

Love the lighting. But you're right, it does need something to make it really look underwater. Maybe you get the effect you're looking for just by adding plants and other underwater things.

Might it be possible to apply a bit of the same or similar texture/pattern you are using so successfully at the water surface and sea bottom portions of the graphic overlaying your rock formations in semi-transparency? I'm thinking that might add to the effect of being underwater, as such formations seen through water wouldn't be seen completely clearly. By the way, I really like this. What you've done so far on it is excellent.
