Description

The leading edge of an approaching storm, captured 2/4/10 around 7:15 AM, about a quarter of a mile from my decrepit dwelling. A ZOOM is highly recommended. Couldn't decide which picture to post, so I'm doing both. To lessen distraction, several cables/wires were cloned out of these pics. The sun itself reminds me of a nuclear blast, just seconds after the initial explosion. Incidentally, Photoshop is celebrating its twentieth birthday this month. Happy Birthday to our beloved and God-given application! I wouldn't be on Renderosity without it. Ciao, and thankx for the peek.

It does have that nuclear fission look to it; but that's to be expected, right? Nice captures of this thinly-veiled sunrise!

Soft and delicate coloring in this wonderful sunrise Harry! I can't choose either - so good thing that you posted both! :)

I think I like the second one, no the first one, no the second one, no the first one. Ok, they're both great!

Awesome sunrises. I can't decide which one I like the best, so if it's ok I will like them both a lot and the same.

Very nicely done Harry. There are no bad sunrises are there? If I lived in your neighborhood, I'd be out there walking with you snapping these sunrises. Nicely done.

Lovely captures Harry! I agree with your description of the atomic blast, also first thought was that the sun is melting into the shy, very different sunrise!

Gorgeous! I do have a favorite (#2) though I love seeing both! I love the dark line of clouds going across the bright ball of fire. Beautiful colors! I love sunrises too, if I can get myself upright early enough to see them. Happy Birthday Photoshop! Life would be so much duller without you!
