Description

The Museum of Flight contains a wonderful exhibit in a building known as the Red Barn, which is an original Boeing building. Everything in there is from the days of wooden planes when everything was built by hand. I couldn't resist the light!

Boeing's Red Barn was such a neat place. What's better than a pile of rope for fascinating textures, colors and forms? Not much:) Well done!

Great capture Tara now I believe that is the rope they used to use to pull start the early prop motors on aircraft. Fancy still having that around haven't seen one in years ;-) Great lighting and rope shot.. Excellent posting!!

It seems you've found your own Gordian Knot. I like how the light highlights the texture and patterns in this old rope. I wonder if it is hemp?

You took that with your KM DiMAGE Z3? Fantastique! But what happened to your new Canon PowerShot? In any case, par excellent clarity, lighting effects and texture.

There comes a time, when every photographer has taken at least once, a shot of ropes and this is the reason why, they present such a fascinating subject and you gave it the royal treatment, namely the right light source, I love it. BB
