Description

A rain shower dissipates... 15 minutes later another one will roll in. Best viewed in full. As per mrestey's request, I took this shot last weekend from Buntzen Lake near Vancouver BC. A place I've frequented over the years... About a 30 minute drive from where I live.

Astonishing. I love that low-hanging cloud. It's wispy and clotted and adds a wonderful bit of drama to this already superb image. I love the crisp clarity of everything and then the softness of that cloud clump. The colors grab me, as does the overall composition. This has a cinematic feel to it, like the establishing shot for something distinctly odd in one of those paranormal subject movies involving alien abductions or sea dwelling Loch Ness Monster ripoffs. Great work that is both meditative and moody in multiple ways. This is the kinda stuff I really like!
