Description
Banddaids First Mistake
After the Christmas party Det. James Claymore heads back down to trench town.
He knows better, procedure is never to go on stakeout without backup, but a gut feeling tells him T.H.E. Cat has a lair in this decrepit part of town.
Standing in front of the old steam-works building on Mott street smoking a cigarette his mind drifts back to the Christmas party and the performance Lacey gave. ~Bad mistake~
something one would think a first day rookie would do not a seasoned vet. ~but after all he's only human, and underneath that cool exterior is a very complicated guy~.
A little about Lt. Detective James Claymore, "Bandaids" to the guys in the squad. Bandaids was given to him due to his stent in Army, where he served as an army medic during the gulf war.
Suave sophisticated and cool as a cucumber, a master of stealth and disguise with a unique ability to blend into his surroundings making himself almost invisible.
I mean the man can be wearing a six hundred dollar tailor made suit and still blend in with a bunch of trench town derelicts passing a bottle of cheap hooch around, or a group of bums warming their hands over a fire under an overpass.
Like the chief he's a real cloths horse and once came under fire by some upstart in internal affairs who was trying to make a name for himself by claming there was no way a Lt. Detective could afford the cloths, house, and that car on his salary. What the jerk didn't know was what everyone else did, that bandaids had made a nice wad of cash in the stock market game. Back in his collage days a friend talked him into going half on a G note which he invested in company that made remote control models air planes.
Forgetting about the money writing it off as a loss long ago, but when he returned from the gulf he found that he had over seventy five grand escrow waiting for him after the company had won a bid to build remote control reconnaissance planes for the military.
Now here he stands on Mott Street in a six hundred dollar tailor made suit, smoking a cigarette, and a Porsche Cayman parked around the corner, thinking bout Busty Sexy Lacey "Lt. Sabrina Areola".
