Description

Continuing on with the study of light and shadow in the woods. As you can see, there are quite the number of people in this one spot in Fae Valley. Including the Lady Bug, there are 11 characters. add in the extra foliage from Lisa's Botanicals from Daz, that's quite the load - over 16 megs in fact. throw in spotlight with shadow mapping and softness as well as difuse, a distant light so as not to think we're in the dark and you've got quite the scene. All things considered, it only took my computer about 6 minutes 18 seconds to render the entire scene and that includes the time needed for shadow mapping. this was a fun scene to prepare. I hope you all enjoy it. Thank you for the comments and faves. I do appreciate them all. I wish everyone a great week ahead and for those who were rooting for the Saints! Yeah Baby!!!! they did it!!!

Looks like the U.N. has come to Fae Valley! Great scene, your computer must be a real monster. Don't follow football very closely but I am happy for New Orleans. They sure could use the boost.

very fast indeed.i think it is mostly the raytraycing wich takes the most of time and as well several props i dont remember wich ones even when the scene is small it loads slow in contray i have 50 meg files wich load as lighting its always hard to say same foe rendertime sa parameter can change the render time immensely. nice work btw.
