As the last ember
In the campfire says good night
And I stare into the darkness
I know
You know I love you
But I know you can never know
Just how much I love you
You whisper my name
And I am frozen
Paralyzed by the softness of your voice
With a single touch of your hand
You chase away all of the anger in me
With the twinkle in your eyes
You give me strength in my soul
And tenderness in my heart
In a single instant
You make my whole world better
And I know I could never live without you
