Description
Seemed like a good day to go back to my summer files. Here's my son on Donner Lake (near Tahoe) as he paddled back to shore. I love it here, though not this time of year. He's seen this lake completely frozen over!!

Ya know, even in the summer the temperature of this water tends to keep me on shore and in the sun. I guess that's the exposure to the heat of the valley where I live.

I love this shot! It looks like he's just standing on the water, paddling! Great light and shadow contrast and I find myself trying to read the ink across his belly. This shot rocks!
