Description

This is a old lava flow just out side of Flagstafe, Az. the flow is called Bonito comeing out of Sunset Crater around 1180 ad . So this lava is cold. There is three people here and if you look on the side of the hill behind the lava flow you see the ground is black from the cinders which cove a very large area around Sunset Crater. Around Flagstaff, Az there is about 600 volcancos but none is active anymore. i talked to some locals and they say there is still some hot spots deep in the woods where the snow melts fast. Took this on richardphotos and ne in april last year on trip out west

An amazing site on the cold trail of the anger of the Earth. Nature without Man resumes his duties, and these trees rising out of nothing, shows the vitality of any azimuth our planet! Very nice shot, apparently a little chilly in the morning!
