Description

Just a quick post tonight. Thank you for all the wonderful comments and favs on my last post. I am so proud of them. I would like to introduce you to snow storm Doug. He started reeking havoc here Monday Morning and didn't stop until last night. As a matter of fact this was taken at 10:30 am Monday. I thought I would share it with you. As much as I hate snowstorms. The huge flakes falling was kind of pretty. I have been stalking the galleries as of late. I haven't been able to leave comments on them all, but I have been looking. Still hunting for a new job. Ah so many reports, so little time. Much love and peace, Cheri

Oh, we had this guy here too! Snow for miles, snow that just went on forever, snow that just wouldn't stop being snow as it piled up and piled up some more, and now that it's done, there's another threat of snow! Ah, life in the Midwest! This is a great capture though. The falling snow makes everything so hazy and ill-defined in that rather spooky way that implies all sorts of drama back in the trees, where you can't really see what's happening! I love that sense of drama and mystery and this picture oozes with it, despite the fact that when it snows, things don't ooze unless they're antifreeze leaking from a junk-heap truck. I really like this immensely! Great work!

It was great fun getting to shovel and clean up after this one several times!!! The total snowfall here wasn't so bad, but the blowing drifting snow hit us big time. If I ever win the lottery, I'm thinking I'll buy a really big truck and move the entire month of February somewhere else, really really far away!

great shot, you've had much more than us, it's turned cold here with a light dusting of snow on Mon, the south East cost has had it worse this time. I did pass a patch of SNOWDROPS in the car last weekend which I like much better than the snow and ice!
