UPDATED: September 19, 2010
Hi, My name is Bill and I am updating my homepage to reflect a wonderful event in my life...marriage, September 18, 2010, to my best friend Tara...known to many of you as auntietk here on Renderosity.
We "met" shortly after I joined Renderosity in August 2008. We share a love for photography and indeed all types of art.
We live north of Seattle and enjoy getting to share photographic excursions and information with other Renderositians ( is "Renderositians" even a word? ). LOL
As for me, it seems like I've been taking pictures all my life but I didn't get serious enough to purchase my first Digital Single Lens Reflex (DSLR) camera until May 2008. In May 2009 I upgraded from an Olympus E-510 to an Olympus E-30 with a wide variety of lenses.
My subject areas of interest include absolutely everything but with a frequent return to airplanes, cars, tanks, etc., ...or as Tara says, machines that make lots of noise;-)
If you are curious, I am pictured above in a Grumman Corsair on a taxiway of the Kansas City Downtown Airport. I used to fly and train others to fly airplanes. That will explain my frequent forays into the world of aviation. Last but by no means least, thanks to Pannyhb for introducing me to Renderosity. The moment I saw it I was hooked.
Fine print: Yes, the photo above is a photo manipulation:-)

great shot! I'm wary of mussels, the only time I ate them I thought I was the victim of a terrorist gastro plot.

I just love crab meat! The very best is when Lance goes out crabbing and brings me cooked, cleaned, shelled ready-to-eat crab. Ohhhhhhh ... now I'm eager for crabbing season to get here! This looks delish!

EXCELLENT SHOT, AND DID YOU TASTE THEM?
goodoleboy
Stellar capture of the bivalve mollusks, decapods, and environs, Bill. Except for the hand printed signs and all that ice and snow, that's exactly how it looks in my supermarket displays.
npauling
A lovely colourful display.

ROTFLMAO at jocko500 Lol sorry Bill but it had me in fits lol Not really a cray or crab eater I suppose I am not much of a seafood person except for fish as one I ate some prawns and was violently ill after it and every time I smell that type of seafood smell now my stomach knots up and wants to gag lol. Nice shot there though..
Osper
Hmm, shooters with hot sauce and a cold beer!!!!
ledwolorz
Super shot.

LOL @ Andrea...her reference to gastro-terrorists actually made me think of the name of a fictional punk rock band...known as...well...The Gastrointestinal Gestapo. Hmmm... I'll have to write that down, it might come in handy in a later post! Anyway...what a wonderful and indeed appetizing picture. I love the taste of crab! And yeah, I feel guilty eating them...they're crustaceans which means they have something in common with those other crustaceans I like, but I'm just predatory enough to put that aside and just eat. I love the colors in this and the "you are there" feeling of this picture. Wonderful! Oh, and by the way, mussels are nice too...I had them on pizza once, in France, only they called them "moulle" or something like that.

Looks great!!!!
