Description
I got this pic one day last week I had to go to an appt and wanted to ride around and get some pics and this was one of them...Up by the old school bus garage where I live.......I had to re schedule the Cat Scan not getting out in 10 degree weather with a wind chill of -8 below and 8 inches of snow...Now it is re scheduled for this Monday and guess what?
Yep more snow is on the way...An advisory starts tomorrow and goes through until Monday so who knows if I will get to go this time.....Hubby went on his paper route and the car got a hole in it the transmission somehow...it all leaked out and he went off in a ditch...No cell phone...Walked for 2 miles no houses finally went back to the car and so happened a couple saw him off in the ditch..they were comming back from church in another county on the way home...He was a deacon in the Catholic Church they got him warmed up first with coffee..then got the car out and he bought hubby all way home..I was so scared he was hurt.....A friend towed it home...we thought it was a goner..but he fixed the seal and it is running..not perfect but running..I told my
friends we were due a bad winter and so far I have been right......We could get up to 7 inches again.......but thank goodness not in Washington
with 22 inches of snow...7 is enough for us...

Oh forgot to say....a girl from my church bought me a Valentine's Present...A Pink Carnation from my Sunday School Class at church...I was so surprised and tickled....and hubby bought me breakfast in bed.......Not a bad Valentine Day after all.........

Oh my...I've never seen so many cardinals in one place!! Must be wonderful to see them all!! Hope all goes well with the CAT scan. Just had one yesterday. You've gotta love that 'pee your pants' feeling, LOL. Glad your hubby and car are home safe!!

How absolutely gorgeous to see all those beautiful birds gathering in such a bleak cold place. To me it is like a Christmas card and so different from our world here in Ausralia. Here we have many parrots and colourful birds come to visit our house and feed from our lawn and eat fruit from our trees. I love watching them from my window. You make me feel that I should start an album. I love your work and will continue to browse through. You remind me of our wonderful photography artist in Australia "Ledwolorz", also very talented. I hope your day has turned out really well...hugs!!

The snow looks deep and I am sure the birds would really love all the food they can get. You sound to have had an eventful week and I hope your new fall of snow doesn't come. Glad to hear that Hubby wasn't hurt and that you got the car going again, you will need it for the hospital. A lovely capture and I hope you have found a warm spot. I will send you some of our sunshine to blow away the snow.

Wow .. would you look at all those cardinals!! I might see maybe two males in my yard, and a female or two, but never anything like this! What a gorgeous image this is! Keeping you in my prayers Susan, stay safe and warm. So glad you're hubby got home safely and that was able to get the car running again. Hope this is the end of a troublesome winter.

Praise be that the deacon came along! How scary for you and your hubby. I hope the weather cooperates and you can get to your appointment tomorrow. This is a beautiful image! Oh Susan, what a great picture of those cardinals. I have only seen a cardinal once, and then I only got to see one but what a beautiful bird. What a treat it must have been to see this many at one time. I wish we had them in Oregon.
