My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.

Faemike55
Fantastic shot! I agree, it does remind me of the Jetsons as well

Yews I can see it. Looks like the open patio/launch pads of the apartments.
Katraz
Nice shot the reflections look great.

Well I've never liked the Jetson's, but your photo is grand.
beachzz
This is an awesome shot and you're right, it DOES look like something from the Jetson's!!

I love the way you freely associate odd objects with, in this case, a 1930 something airfield beacon. You've really captured the essence of this old time light. Thanks for this tara.

So beautiful reflections on this and I love the colors too :)

The who? (well, not The Who, I've heard of them) A really interesting compo, it could be a block of apartments even. The curves make the refelctions very complex.

Not having watched the Jetsons I can't compare... Sorry.. But it certainly is a complex weave of glass and shapes! Rob

Probably where the Jetson's stole the design from, eh? Great shot, nice cropping and capture of light. : )

I got the Jetsons thing right away, LOL! Great find and capture!

I was obviously very deprived as a kid - never saw the Jetsons. But I love the form and light play you've captured here.

very beautiful!!

It could be something from the Jetson's world you know! In fact this is one of those buildings not too far away from Spacely Space Sprockets...and well...while we're on that topic, why are Cogswell Cogs and Spacely Space Sprockets competitors, cogs and sprockets are totally different things...or are they? I love the color in this and despite any Jetsons reference, there's still that Third Stage Guild Navigator tank that comes to mind whenever I see this...only there's no "fish man" swimming in orange melange gas inside. Oh well...at any rate this is a gorgeous shot full of wonderful glints of light and a top notch interplay of colors! Great stuff!

My son had a Hot Wheels Parking Ramp, it reminds me of that. Really cool shot.
