Description

The vegetation here is much greener as compared to the area from my last post "An Eerie Sound" ....allowing us to step into the forest and get some pictures. No large fire flare up yet....only the sounds of large tree's falling. Here the lava is working on a mango tree. Given a little time, all the leaves and vegetation will quickly dry up and all "H" will break loose. For now? we're kinda safe. Aloha and thank you for viewing.

Very impressive. I have never witnessed buring lava "eating" a tree like this.

Praticamente un grande braciere ! Serve occhio e esperienza per sfuggire al pericolo. Veramente interessante ! Basically a big fire! Need eye and experience to escape the danger. Really interesting!

Quite scary to see, but grimly fascinating.

Hell with that, I'm not stepping in there! I wonder how long it will take to burn through the trunks of the wider trees, the burn lines are very distinct here. Excellent details!

Great picture, love the slow motion burn that flowing lava gives. Visited the Big Island when stationed at Pearl in the late 60's early 70's Mahalo and Aloha
