Description

One of the privileges of Carnival is that one can hide under a mask and get some illicit fun. This was the meaning of Carnival, a time when social barriers were left down for a short time and people from different social classes could mix up freely. However, in the Venetian Republic some masks similar to that posted yesterday were used all the year round at night. One never knows whether a masked person is a man or a woman, a Venetian or a stranger, one from the countryside or from a foreign country. It's the dark side of Carnival, the night when all cows are black, under the brilliant colors. This reveller has given away a tiny bit of information: she's married, but ready to have fun. Today this isn't very important but some centuries ago it was a fascinating detail.... Thank you for your kind comments.

yes very nice ,and sorry i am in a hurry got to find my mask,ow well my face is carnival all year anyway-hehehe. another nice idea last year i went to carnival disguised as a beer barrell,slowly and little by little i filled the barrel up lol.
