Description

Ok this was taken in July this last year. I really got lucky in the dragonfly department this last year. It snowed last night again. Not much, but I am so tired of all the cold and snow. I think I live in the wrong part of the country. Yep I would miss the white Christmases, I could handle the warmth though. I hope you enjoy. Much love and peace to you all, Cheri

Makes me wonder where all the Dragon Flies go during the winter...I probably knew when I was in high school biology...but that was a long time ago:-)))

Beyond superlative capture of the magnificently patterned dragonfly! Sorry to rub salt into the wound, Cheri, but it's been running in the low 80s Fahrenheit around here over the past few days, with plenty of sunshine.

Great shot and even though we didn't have that much snow this year, I could still go for the warmth and longer days Excellent

Wonderful capture, these guys look so delicate. The rain is gone and we've had sun for the last week, 75-80 degrees. We still have plenty of room here in California.

Maybe you should move someplace a little warmer. Perhaps Seattle! :D We have snow, but not very often, and nobody here expects you'll shovel. (Tell Dave about the shoveling thing, okay? It melts pretty quickly, and people who shovel their walkways are considered to be a bit anal retentive.)

It's nice to see a pic, from a warmer season, it helps to remind me that this is all just temporary. I'm in the process of getting a bunch of people together here, with the intent to move February. All we have yet to do is decide to where. Nice shot sweetie!! Thanks for the warm me up!

Love these guys. Hard to capture them as they fly off at the least little movement. You've caught this one just fine! I'm a little winter-weary myself this year. Don't usually mind winters, but this year .... I'm so ready for summer.

great capture, I only saw one dragonfly last year and he was moving too fast for me to take a snap. We had more snow last night too, not much though and it melted away during the day, but have more forecast for tonight :o( JUST SAY NO TO SNOW!

Oh this is nice...and I love the title and what it implies. I remember a more laid back time...only it was spent in Prague...and well...if Prague gets any more laid back it'll slip into a coma. I love this image, I've had horrible luck in the dragonfly department, but I did manage to get a few woodlice, and well...since I like woodlice so much, that's a plus. What I really like here are the details. What wings! I love the velvety texture of this critter's long and elegant abdomen as well. In short, this is great!
