Description

Hi all, sorry I haven't been able to be on hardly at all. I have had very little time to post or comment. I have am working on being my own boss. I still have the other job, but knowing I am working on this and making progress definitely gives me a sense of hope. I know as I keep pushing forward and hanging in there, I can replace my job with this. I have done this before, not online, that part is new to me, but in person. That actually has helped in the stress level area. I feel a lot better, just need to build my base. Wish me luck. Soon I should be able to have more time then to just stalk your galleries. This is what happened to the last of the white mums. It was taking at Thanksgiving, right before the snow came. Much love and peace, Cheri

I love how there's a milkweed cling on attached to this particular blossom, probably the best give away as to the time of year here!!! It was already getting too cold out for most flowers to survive for weeks, but this little rascal just wasn't going to give up until it was good and ready to. We've both been more than just a bit AWOL from here of late, odd how ones life actually gets more complicated, rather that easier!! I'm thinking that life as a whole is bassackwards, and maybe we should start out retired, proceeding on through it all until one day we just end up all nice and warm in our mothers womb.,................perhaps I'll work on that one!! Take good care all!!

Good for you Cheri! The quicker you can give your boss the boot the better. This is the perfect image for your commentary. The little mum may be down for the winter but come Spring it will be back.

So that's what's going on! Working two jobs at the same time! No wonder you don't have the time to post and/or comment. Busy lady! Oh well, more power to you, especially if it helps you feel better. Oh yes, fine macro of the Thanksgiving mum, Cheri!

WOW! This is quite a rich photo, and in a sense it is very hopeful as well...Mums are lucky you know...In Japan they're the flower of warriors, which says a lot of cool things about the Japanese if their warriors can have flowers! But I also see it as a good omen...a warrior's flower with great color and captured fluff. This is really fantastic work and quite uplifting...hopefully it's a sign of better work time for you, especially doing something you want to do rather than something that stresses you out. Great work and hugs from Chicago.
