My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.

:-) I can see this covered in snow and ice right now. Your POV is just right for that blue sky.

Every time I see this thing, I think of the music used in Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Oddyssey. And I keep expecting to see homonids touching it and learning how to do nasty things. I love this shot! The post work gives it a nicely mysterious vibe! Wonderful shadows. I understand the feeling of doing too much! Ugh, it's annoying...like an itch in a part of the body you don't have, thus you can't scratch it...but it's there. But hey, on the bright side of things, 12 years to retirement isn't so long a span of time, especially if you think in geologic terms.

Once again I have to thank Chip. Now I can't get Also Sprach Zarathustra out of my head! Very interesting minimilist art piece. Well captured. I must visit this 'Chicago' of which you speak. }:-0

I knew I recognized this. Don't apologize for life. It happens. I myself haven't been able to be on as much as I want. I have been working and then coming home and working to expand. I love the texture of that. this is a really awesome shot and totally shows the texture really well.

This is really amazing! I love the POV; it really makes this look immense. Your light and shadow treatment is stellar. You can't just glance at this and look away, you have to look at all of those little bitty details that make this so rich. I like this a lot!

I thought of 2001 right away as well--this is a GREAT shot!!

From "2001: A Space Odyssey", of course. Very good POV.
