Description

Originally I had planned this for just Cheri but then I decided that Cheri and Dave are hand in hand here with the support and love that they share. So you guys, this is my little thank you for all you have been there for with me, I appreciate and love you both! Thanks for trusting me with your number, I was pretty out of it that day but I felt the warmth from the two of you:-) The lotus is actually another old apo flame that I reworked and then added to one of Helle's masks. And framed with Pewter7's mask! The image has an Egyptian feel to me but there are many meanings for the lotus. The meaning of a lotus flower ranges from divine purity and enlightenment, as in Buddhism, wealth, as in Hinduism, to rebirth, as in the ancient Egyptian religion. I am still trying to catch up, if you have multiple images I can't get to them all, sorry but I do look at them even if I can't comment on all. Lynn this is such a sweet and warm dedi to your friends and I'm sure they'll be grateful for it. The light streaming from the lotus here is so eye catching and gives the image such a magical feel. It was also nice to read the different meanings it has in various religions.
