Description

I took this at a place near my home called the Lily Barn, in Townsend Tennessee; it is a 3 - acre perennial garden that includes a small covered bridge, a 120 year old cantilever barn, gift shop, café and an evergreen maze including ponds and most importantly lots of Day Lilies. They host different gatherings such as weddings ceremonies, church retreats, family reunions and it is also just a nice place to visit to stroll through and enjoy the gardens and trails. A bit of an update, I had told you all that I had two different ultra sounds done, and they had found a cyst. So I am scheduled for surgery tomorrow morning, and I wanted to thank those of you that have sent me messages and a few that shared with me similar experiences it has helped me quite a bit. I will be back home tomorrow night if all goes well. And am told there is a ten day recovery. I will have my laptop nearby so when I am feeling up to it I will try to peek in and see all of your work, though I doubt I will be doing any posting of my own. So I have taken care of just about every thing at home that I could think of so I am worry free. I have a couple of novels waiting for me on my nightstand, which I plan to finish as I recover, though I would prefer to be on a warm beach reading them rather than stuck in bed. When my daughter Erin was around seven, and she had something she had to do that she was dreading, she blurted out “well a girls got to do what a girls got to do”. So I am trying to hold on to the memory of her saying that, to help me be as brave as she was back at such a young age. I wish you all a great week and I will see you all very soon. Thank you all for your comments on my last photo and also the comments you left for Michael’s poem. thumb_2018569.jpg

Now see, this isn't fair. I never get to shoot pictures like this because we throw away everything here in Los Angeles before it gets old, including most of our actresses. Still it's a neat image. One day surgery and then home at least sounds encouraging. Well you're a girl so do what'cha gotta do.

Let me add, a RUSTING Rustic Beauty, in this remarkable shot of a vehicle that has seen much better days, Lynell. Isn't this what they used on hayrides? Lots of luck in your health situation, which is most trying, and forget the novels, your laptop, photo editing and Renderosity hold top priority.

Goodness! I hadn't realized you were ill or having surgery. I hope all is well!!! If you need anything, just give a shout. I don't think I'm that far away from you. I love this weathered cart! It's not often you see them and most assuredly not such a lovely blue one!
