How on earth did it happen that I'm uploading my 1200th image here on Renderosity? It seems like it wasn't long ago that I joined this amazing community.
I can't tell you how much I appreciate your comments, your support, and your friendship. This is a wonderful place to hang out!

(I've always wanted to say, "big deal! I hit 1200 when I was 6!" But I've got too much class for that...) (Well, not really, lol...) Tara, I still owe you comments on so many more of your wonderful images, but I at least wanted to stop at this one & congratulate you on 1200. (I'm at 247. You know how long it will be before I get to 1200? Hint: None of us will be alive then!) It's fitting that you chose an iris, since you've been one of the great showcases for irises on Rosity and in my life. And this one is bathed in a back-lit opulence, like it's got a sun behind it ("firelight"). And you cropped it slightly off-center, which makes it feel as if it's looking over at us, as if it looked up from its day to acknowledge us in all its splendor. A great milestone for a great gallery, with so much thought & radiance & class & balance & opulence, etc etc, and so much of your heart & reflection & great humor & play & love. I always thought this gallery was a 'center'. I wish you many thousands more. And I'll always be walking here, whether commenting online or not: It's one of my favorite places, from one of my favorite people. Congratulations! I'll be back for more in the coming days...(Trying to get to people I've not spoken to in 2 months. It's hard when you've been away a long time.) But a bow & big hug for a great milestone.
