Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

I always appreciate the light house and markers to guide my way back safely. I'm glad they saved it. Nice capture and a collection to keep. Aloha

Show me the way to go home, I'm tired and I wanna go to bed..... Cool capture of the cold-looking glass enclosure and framework, Maz! Looks like a stack of metal washers inside. I'm sure Pres Obama will gladly contribute some stimulus money in order to relocate this gem. Incidentally, the transport ship that took me overseas during the big war was named the Cape Mendocino.
