Born in Hilo, Hawaii and class of '66, I became very active in Barbells, Judo and love striking the heavy/speed bag. I've learned to Rollerblade and bike ride which is a very health sport. But time doesn't stop for anyone including for me. So my good friend Dave aka punaguy got me started in taking pictures. I'm having fun taking pictures especially hiking the mountains. I'm enjoying seeing the world thru your post on Renderosity. Mahalo and Aloha....Errol

I used to frequent your beautiful islands as a surfer when I was younger, and to me big Sunset was about the scariest thing I thought you guys had (other than Eddie Rothman!!!!)...apparently I was wrong. You live in an amazingly beautiful part of the world, and your great photographs do it justice.

It must be so warm as well. And you have to learn calculating the next move of the lava I'm sure...something for the experienced person and not just anyone who fancies a lava show.

This view is much more ominous and scary. Perhaps a phoenix. The foreground has already been ravaged by the lava.

Yes, I was also thinking of the Phoenix rising from the ashes! Keep your flame suit handy my friend, ha ha!

seems to be the fire bird in a paradise where fire rules! ;o)

I knew I shouldn't have thrown that cigarette in the woods... Very erie shot, the smoke adds to that feeling. And the cooling lava in the foreground looks fantastic, lots of cool lines and cracks. Well done my man!
