Description

Because of the dry vegetation, I had to stay back some distance. I'm prepared to duck if a fireball kicks up and floats myway. But the day ended OK...... Aloha and thank you for viewing.

One of the best ones yet. The mixture of the greyish colored lava in the foreground, the bright red/orange of the new lava, the trees and the sky all make for an interesting layered effect. Outstanding shot my friend, very well composed!

Just a stunning shot! The contrast in colour on the new and old flow is magnificent and really does give off the impression of just how much heat there is there. Superbly surreal to view, and hats off to you for such a wonderful shot!
