Description
The naval battle of Salamis island, back at 480 BC was the first victory for Greeks against Persians after the loss of Thermopylae and the death of Leonidas's hoplites.
Greeks used the same strategy like Thermopylae, but in a sea battlefield now, avoiding an open conflict with the huge Persian fleet and when the time was right they used the carefully chosen battlefield adn the sea itself to destroy Persians.
Hope you like it people, and sorry for the history lesson.
Regards.
---Kostas.
