Description
I'm thinking of doing a series of wallpapers / desktops for my 7 Valkyries project. Here's the first sample. (Yes, I know it's dark, and the shadows and such aren't entirely consistent -- I was going for a sort of freaky feeling.)
mistressotdark provided the wonderful background pic I used, it has the perfect feel.

You did quite well actually! It definitely has an eerie vibe about it - the red conveys that quite nicely. I'm sure it'll make lovely desktops!

There in an inherent starkness to this image that is accentuated not only by thge color but the fact that she is looking out and away from most of the landscape. Only thing I would suggest is a softer or more irregular transition between the red and the sandy foreground.

indeed somewhat freaky and creepy feeling-i like the deepness of the fog/clouds/smog and the reddish touch. its the 2nd image for this morning wich gives me an inspiration for a render in post apocalyptic,freaky,sleazo,dirty,grimey environment lol. fantastic work and into my favs.

Good idea..and moody. Suspenseful. I hiked home in sunsets like that, when I lived in Tucson, Arizona. Felt like I was on another planet. It brings back pleasant memories. (Thanks.) But, I never met her. (Darn!) My only criticism: on a screensaver page, I'd have her look to our left. Different shadowing and lighting on her, I know. Maybe that image could be Screensaver Mark II? other than that small nit, I have nothing but praise for this.
