Description

(Bug Comic) (This is the result of "An Inconvenient Flowerpot") Here Bryan has interrupted Professor Shinka's "dinner" (there is a shrimp in the ... martini, or whatever it is, it could be absinthe for all I know). It's a good thing that Shinka (his stage name, he has a long and elegant surname that is the same as a Japanese castle) is both short and agile. He's the head of the University's Drama Department, and so famous that students come from 4 continents to study with him. He's known for getting amazing performances out of mediocre actors, singers and dancers. As far as Bryan knows, he's just some drunk leprechaun who is going to be no help at all in getting rid of Camo Guy, but as soon as Bryan puts his head out of the pool, Shinka says "Darling, shall I call the police for you?" and Bryan nods enthusiastically. ---------------------------- Shinka' face was done by me in Argile, but his skin texture is by Shaft73, Kenji, though I am not sure Shaft would appreciate me sticking it on someone so different;)

that is a great splash. i'm still wondering why the water is so bright and blue. now that you've said more about the character it seems like something he would do. as flamboyant as he seems, he must be pretty centered and level-headed to take all of this in stride so easily. it's funny, but i recognized the base outfit on Shinka. you keep getting better and better at telling a story with your paintings/renders. your characters and events are now the focus, and your technique plays a supporting role. which says how good your technique is. with so much professional visual art out there, it's actually really hard to create work that lets viewers fall into it rather than noticing problems.

Wowee--excellent job on this one. You can almost feel the movement from the water and the dirt from the flowerpot.
