It was the lines and lighting that caught my eye, not the fact that it's a church. The lighting is just awesome on that building, I'm sure I could have done it more justice then this; guess I'll try again in the spring. Thank you all for the kind words on my previous posts:)! Eric

I think the winter feeling works VERY well here. A spring version will be different, but not necessarily better. This is excellent as is!

The lighting on the church really is great for a night shot! I love the contrast between that light (from the outside) and the apartment windows (lit from the inside). There's probably some philosophical musing in there somewhere, but it's too early in the day for that sort of thing. :P Nicely done!

The lighting on the church is what makes this. Marvelous play of light and shadow and well, the whole sense of urban geometry really works here. Again, I love the idea of a black and white nocturnal shot and your POV is spot on again. This low angle is delicious.
