Description

I hear some people leaveing this art site. Why? They art was stolen... so are you makeing money on it? if so I can understand. if not so what. The people who stole it may not be makeing money and if it just so they get the credit it be hollow for them. In time people will see thought them and walk away from them. The only thing that really happen is your pride got hurt. Me; I wish some one would steal my art. Then I know I good. People leaveing here too because some people wrote to them saying they work was not too good. I went and looked at that person art and this is the comment I left her[not the whole comment just some of it] I would not leave if I was you. When I was working with Brcye they had some people that try to run me off but I stay and fight three wars with them; for three times they came to get me off this site. I saw them leave. If you leave it means they won. if you stay you win. I read of Pablo Picasso when he first had the idea of cubist art. he painted one painting then he show his friends one at a time and all say it was bad work. Pablo Picasso took the painting and turn it around and put it up so no one will see it. He took it out ten years later to start his ideas of the cubist paintings which made him well know. What I trying to say is the work you doing is in you and have to come out. Do not worry what people say. i could talk about Vincent Van Gogh which you can look up if you never heard of him. He did not care what people say of him. Could talk about Frederic Remington when he burn some of his paintings thinking they was bad[he even bought some back he sold to burn thinking they was bad] . Wish I had those paintings I be very rich today. Hope this will help you. I understand if you have too much work or you sick or you die or you got no ideas and just tried for now. hope this will help The image was taken in the grave yard tis morning. It in a history mard one too. I will post more of the grave yard and tell the real tale of what happen here as i know it.

Oh my friend Jocko, what a beautiful bias! Of course if we stole it ... it was good ... that's what I wrote when I was told that some of my pictures were on a Russian website! My four or five stolen paintings have long been my models. Two times I wanted to go and the last time it was Bunny who explained that the number of comments means nothing ... one is a real compliment ยง Our soul is exposed here .. Jocko you're right, and you know you have also suffered critical, but Bunny convinced me, and she left disgusted ... I think for Adrie is a bit more serious. Valerie Ducom had also destroyed his gallery, and she regretted it two days later ... Jocko you are a wise ... we collect about you ... Thank you!

I,ve had a few people go out of there way to nail me. But the greatest number have been friendly well intentioned fellow artists. It is those to whom i listen the others i don,t hear... So don,t leave because of trolls they are all over the web pandemic since computers got so any idiot could use one. If they are dissing you know them as those. Ignore them.If they are really dumb and obnoxious contact a mod. Nice shot jock looking forward to the story!!

as I mentioned the other day on someone's post that was looking for another place to dwell, was that every since I joined back in 2003 it has been going on and will continue.I have been the object of some people's negative attention. I learned finally the best way was not respond, even though it is hard to remain quiet. I think it is best on to wear a chip on your shoulder your capture is superb and equally your thoughts

Nicely said! For me it is very easy. I do art work I like. I post because maybe some others also like it. If someone does not like it, that is okay too as there are lots of other art here they can go look at. I don't care if folks think I am good or bad. I only care that I do the best I can.

I had 750 pictures in my gallery at one time. Pictures I had made when I came here a long time ago were far back in my galleries. I felt that my work was being censored (being bipolar doesn't help) so I got angry and in a fit of rage destroyed a gallery that had taken over 5 and a half years to build. Then a week or so went by and I realized that the biggest audience for my work was here. Yes, I do put my works up other places but this is the site that I get the most feedback from. For the last year or so I have been replacing my works but have only got to a little over a hundred back up. At this rate I will be at it for another 3 years, even if I NEVER make another picture. Think before you do something as drastic as destroy years worth of collected work over the few problems that could occur here. I have been on sites where no one cared if the trolls were overtly nasty to you. You could complain all you like and they would just tell you that if you were so weak then maybe YOU should leave. (That is a real eye opener).... I have had peopel steal my work and put their name on it but I found most would take it down rather than suffer the evil wrath of the gene-monster writing that they were thieves to anyone who would listen (Yes, Matilda, I AM that NASTY). My art is like my children. If you steal my kid you could expect nothing but my unadulterated, evil and full vengence (I am nice to anyone who is nice back but have found that most trolls will run shreiking for cover if I spend just a little of my pent up frustration on the subject of their ancestry and the vile birthing of their monsterous offspring and bring to light their true selves naked and defenseless to the truth of their sins. Most admin at the sights they inhabit will pressure them to take my works down and barring that I go to their ISP. I am not a nice man to those that prove themselves to be my enemies. That very seldom happens as most people are good in their basic nature. If you think of leaving make sure that you think about it for a while first. Don't take down your gallery but just quit posting for a while. The act of not posting or better yet NOT coming her for a while will give you a perspective on what it is like to NOT be here amongst your friends. You will miss us in a very short time and then we will see how you feel... lol..... and we will miss you as well.... No matter who you are, if you have been nice then you will have friends here. Nice people attract nice people and nice people become friends. No matter who you are, can you truly say you would not miss us??? .... nuff said. Now my friend, as to this picture. We are all this little boy. In our fascination we reach out to touch that which we find amazing and beautiful. It is what makes this good artwork, in that we can see ourselves in it. When I look at most artwork I try to imagine myself there. Inside of the art itself. If it says anything to me then it is easy to do and if not then it is usually me just missing the point. HEHEHEHE .. I do in fact miss the point sometimes but I try to never show that I am that ignorant and never say so.. I keep quiet about those shortcomings as they are indeed entirely my own. This is a wonderful picture and truly deserves the 5+++ rating I give to it..... gene

Good pic with the play of light and shadow on the boy. Good camera angle, too. Heck, Jock, I look forward to your observations on life in your write-ups as much as I wait for your pics. More, please. Dick

spectacular words! while I understand that theft itches, frankly I'd never leave because of it but i'd expose the thieves! I'm an old warrior and I think that leaving for this reason is wrong. Also if there are people that don't like my art. If they don't, they can ignore my gallery. Just to add a case to Jocko's list, i read that Einstein got F in Maths at school! In every community there are unsavoury characters, but there are also a lot of friends.
