Description

I been haveing this image from spring of 2009 so it now too old. I know of Joan of Arc from child hood. then I look her up on google and read the history of her and a lot that was never teach to us like her betrayal by the Franch king and the Pope also. here is a wonderful link I liked too from the Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia, Canada writer George Graham http://www.stjoan-center.com/topics/george.html of couse there is a lot of history on her and it is well recorded history too. I posted yesterday about people leaveing this site for the wrong reason and then I started to read on joan of Arc and say to myself " And these people on Ren. got toubles???" This woman was killed and the ones who killed her got away with killing her too. And then she was find not guity at all. anyway France give the city of New orleans this gift in 1972. here is a link to the history of this http://www.stjoan-center.com/topics/jcraven.html thank you for looking and comments and favorite

Jock first of all this is such a great photo of her statue and the moment I'm done commenting I'll check out the links you left with the history. Great job, I have to agree with Steve about the pov being good here.

Very beautiful reminder of that part of the history of France ... maiuntenant you know, and it will not be the last time a king of France betray his faithful friends for reasons of state say! Very nice picture. I also exists in Paris a statue of that jeanne, all clad in gold ... the bishop who ordered that she be burned alive called 'CODCHON' (pig !)...

Very nice...when I had first heard of Joan of Arc, I never realized that she was little more than a child...but what courage she had!! This is a great capture of a beautiful statue!
