Description

Captured 10/3/09, at the beautiful San Diego International Orchid Fair, held in the beautiful San Diego Botanic Gardens in beautiful Encinitas, California, just north of beautiful San Diego. It was the 15th annual Orchid Show and Plant Sale held at this site, participated in and put on by a whole host (28) of orchid vendors. This was a hand held shot captured indoors, without the use of a flash. I had reduced the shutter speed, so I was lucky it came out this sharp. Postwork helped considerably. And, after reviewing the other fotos, it's no more flash pics for me at these indoor flower shows. Live and learn. I used a tripod next time during the orchid show held at the Huntington Botanical Gardens, which gave far better results. Adios, amigos, and thankx for dropping by.

Spectacular capture!! Had a comment all written and my power went out, very windy here tonight...love the delicate bleeding of colors joining each other in the perfect places - awesome post!
