This is Albert Park Lake which is the site of the Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix each year.

Thanks for sharing this shot, I do remember Albert Park Lake from the 70's, when I lived in Elwood... I am aware of the Formula 1 races there, but actually never been to one. Do tell me, does Rob's Drive-in Restaurant still exists ? Cheers BB

What a shot! I love the intensity of it. Great sky...there's a part of me that has has become inordinately interested in dramatic skies and the possibility of making them look a bit more apocalyptic than is healthy! Ah, but I guess everybody goes through their phases. I love this photo though...it's quite expansive and is soothing in so many ways. I really love the colors and the intensity. Grand work!
