Description
They call me City Rat to demean me, but it is a name I wear with pride.
I am the plague they cannot cure, the dirty secret they try to hide.
I am the chittering noise in the cupboard that everyone tries to ignore.
To make them scream and jump, I need just dash across the floor.
Forever they will hunt me, but the bait they use is wrong.
I see them, but they do not see me. I bite...
...and then I am gone...."
