Still no word - other than no change... Everyone is holding their breath, waiting helplessly for the shoe to drop.
I'm asking this angel to look over the family, to guide them all through this passage in life.
Thank you all for the wonderful suggestions and ideas, but most of all the prayers for my friend and his family.

I just talked to a friend of mine today and found out his father passed on Tuesday. We talked about it for a while. It reminded me of what happened when my best friend died. All of his friends met for a memorial. We wound up sitting around a living room and telling stories about his life. It was a great bonding experience and there were lots of laughs. If your friend is up to it, you might gather some friends to talk about old times with him.
