Description
To show that SSD wasn't all about space and the politics surrounding it, the editors decided to produce a special robot edition. Within these pages there were interviews with robogod Isaac Asimov, Robby the Robot designer Bob Kinoshita and, although not mentioned on the cover, a young man interested in the theory of Cybernetics - one Kit Pedlar - co creator of Dr Who's Cyberman some 6 years later.
The highlight has to be Crudworthy's amazing story of robot rebellion and conquest.
The robot was found on a HUGE 3D archive site. I had to introduce new material zones and basically created a new model so that I could texture it.

I think I may have actually had one of those robots, and it wold have been mid-60's. Another great cover and some fond memories.All round top marks.
